Heavy NS1000 Series

NS1010 engine of the Dutch Railways. With the characteristic rounded front and back. A 6-axle engine with on both sides the smaller wheels as a late reminder of the steam engine years. One of the first electrical engines in the Netherlands ordered in the late 1930's in Switzerland, but due to the second World War build shortly after it. A heavy engine with 6 electrical motors. In fact too powerful for the Dutch tracks in those years, since the maximum speed was limited shortly after the introduction. The only still existing engine can be seen in the Railway Museum in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
Can be used on all types of Lego ® track. Printed bricks for the engine number on front and back and on the shields on both sides. The roof can be opened for the battery box and an engine driver. Wheels are from Big Ben Bricks. Driven on all 4 center axles by a Lego Powered Up L-Motor. Only suitable to operate with the LEGO Powered Up App. The set does not include the Powered Up parts.
